Underwriting Overview
- Employer Sponsored dental groups need a combined 75% participation and at least 3 in the PPO.
- Reduced Participation plans have the same plan design options as the Employer Sponsored, requiring 3 in the PPO with a minimum of 40% participation. Rates are based on participation.
- Voluntary Plans require 5 in the PPO and 2 in a DHMO with no percentage requirements but are subject to restricted plan design and higher costs.

Agent Licensing
- Individual Licensing - Agents licensed as an individual
- Corporate Licensing - Agents licensed as a corporation
Compensation
- DHMO 10% commission for most states - (New York/New Jersey 6%)
- All AIG Group PPO production is paid based on standard commissions schedules or up to a flat 10%.
